War of Words

June 10, 2009

I have rarely been under circumstances where I have lost my cool to the outside world, not to mention about my weekly cricket matches. Confrontations win matches here, not catches.

It happened yesterday. I had the perfect mood for an argument when I entered the place. Those guys have been performing ill, bcos of varied reasons. But, that’s not my fault. All I needed was a note with so and so details on it. They could have considered my request. They chose the other way. The prime reason for my altercation was the kind of response I got when I requested for some particulars.

For a group concern, which has been in place for a very long time, it was unacceptable. Moreover I was representing someone who had worked there for most part of his life.

Things went awry and they let out a statement unintentionally (may be my repeated requests made them say that). Out of the blue, I started roaring. With my statements the entire place became quiet. I even threatened them of suing for what they have said. I caught them off guard when I spoke in English. They never expected that because I was dressed in locals of India.

For some reasons the statements are “–__” 🙂

“– __ — __ — __– __ — __ — __– __ — __ — __– __ — __ — __”

“– __ — __ — __– __ — __ — __”

After some time I felt bad and called them and apologized. After all, such things tend to happen.
