India win the series against Australia 2-0

November 10, 2008

Fourth Test, Nagpur, day five:
India 441 & 295 beat Australia 355 & 209 by 172 runs

India regained the much coveted Border Gavaskar trophy beating the Aussies 2-0. The Aussies, I feel have lost their supremacy on the field. They would have to work like hell to regain their supremacy which they boasted upon till now. On the other hand, India which is full of supreme potential and under the safe guidance of Dhoni look ominous. It looks like right now they can beat any other side in the world.

The series would be a fitting farewell to 2 of the finest players of cricket. Sourav Ganguly, fondly called DADA and the JUMBO.
