Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

August 17, 2008

Another day in my life. I feel fresh early in the morning. Just thought of posting one of my essays here. This one wud sound advising bcos it was written for some competition. I doubt whether it goes on with the topic, but that’s wat I had.

Humans would often wish they had the eminence of a great celebrity or a personality, yet many, do not want to discover the mantra behind their deeds.

Those who try to perceive the traits of achievers may find something common to all of them-perseverance. Though perseverance had been in glare of publicity for many centuries in the form of lives of great men, it hasn’t got the necessary attention to change the life of a commoner.

For someone to be successful in his life, he needs strength of will to stand during difficult times. Perseverance provides it. Float like a butterfly all your life and sting like a bee whenever you encounter a problem by the dint of your hard work and determination. The quality of perseverance is put on view by not many during intricate situations. It is more difficult to survive in a triumphant path. Germany in the hands of Hitler attained inimitable heights and power but eventually failed to keep hold of it. Whereas her rivals who had suffered an initial loss, had to wait unruffled, with sheer determination, for the precise opportunity to bring her down. This has set an example as how a nation should not carry herself .

Individuals, who follow the paths of great men, may at times find it difficult to cope with the manners of living of their icons. Sky is the limit for their forbearance. But a common man finds it exceedingly difficult to be inarticulate during the time of crisis like a fry. He finds hard to inhabit himself in the so called world of attributes. This makes all the difference between a bellwether and a follower.

There are people who learn the art of being successful, through the experiences gained through their lives. Repeated failures don’t drown them. But they come back with a bang. The quotient of an achiever against a commoner is immensely high in all the compartments of life. The thoughts of an inspirer are like a beam of the Sun which at one go, gulps the dark. Such is the attitude of achievers.

The attitude of a person is determined best during his difficult times. Some highfliers stay calm and even laugh at situations which are considered quandary. They have a yen for solving such kind of difficulties which makes them even better and more difficult to understand. They also ensure the problem does not sneak out again in any form. The plan of action followed by them against tortuous situations is never, elusive and hard to pin down. Keen observers, when they are in close interaction with such men find their skills invigorating. They wonder, the way situations are dealt out. The observers can notice their duces stay calm like a sea at favourable as well as critical times. They don’t rip open their hackles. They never think about the problem but solution. They wait for the moment to act upon. Once it is in the close proximity they lunge on it.

People always wonder about others successes. But they hardly realize that with sheer diligence like a butterfly which never get hackneyed of going after flowers for honey, they never go on the blink. And with the conscientious quality of facing difficulties like a bee, they become ethereal.
